19th Century German Nodder Bobble Head Monkey With Child
Wonderful mother Monkey nodder with baby.
Out of the ordinary, and quite unique in many ways, who came up with these ideas?
In great condition because when found, rarely have the bottle intact.
Although it has had 2 breaks in the past, one foot and the baby's arm, both repaired really well.
Circa 1900 and made in Germany, we think it is a hard paper mache with a flock like "fur".
In great working order, the mothers head bobs and the eyes move as she keeps a close eye on her child.
And what a sweet face her baby has.
18.5cm tall, 11.5cm wide.
