A lovely bright cushion made from a panel of Rose coloured Toile de Jouy from the second half of the 19th Century on an early 20th century velvet backing with early 20th century trim, showing Old Father Time with Psyche.
The panel is from the back canopy of a bed which was housed in a Chateau in the Maine et Loire.
There are 3 micro pin head marks near Father Times face.
Otherwise in beautiful condition with a new feather inner.
